• I specialize in working with highly sensitive people who are navigating shame, emotional intensity, and low self-esteem. Many of my clients carry the belief that they are either “too much” or “not enough,” and have learned to hide parts of themselves to feel safe, accepted, or loved.

My practice is especially well-suited to individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, mood fluctuations, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and identity-related concerns. I also work extensively with relational issues, including attachment wounds, family conflict, and trauma rooted in early relationships.

In addition to individual therapy, I am passionate about supporting couples and other dyads who are struggling to connect, communicate, or repair.

  • For this type of therapy to be effective, it is important that we meet on a regular basis. I offer weekly sessions as a standard, with the option for more frequent meetings for those seeking a more intensive therapeutic experience. Each client is given a standing appointment time to support continuity and routine in the work.

  • I work with couples, family members, and non-traditional pairings using an eclectic blend of therapeutic approaches, including techniques taken from Imago and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). My foundation in relational psychoanalysis informs how I understand and navigate relational ruptures. I'm deeply interested in what draws people back to one another despite cycles of conflict and pain, and I believe that our closest relationships often hold the greatest potential for healing. My practice affirms and honors all sexualities and relationship structures.

  • In my private practice, initial intakes (CPT code: 90791) are $150 per 60 minute session. Individual sessions (CPT code: 90791) are $135 per 50 minute session. Couples sessions (CPT code: 90847) are $150 per 50 minute session.

  • I offer both in-person and virtual sessions. You can meet with me at my office in Center City located in the Land Title Building or at an office in West Philadelphia. For virtual sessions, I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform to ensure your privacy.

  • I am credentialed with Independence Blue Cross, Cigna, Aetna, and Quest Behavioral Health.

For all other insurance plans, I operate as an out-of-network provider. Many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network services once your annual deductible has been met. If you're seeking reimbursement, I can provide a monthly statement (otherwise known as a “superbill”) detailing the services provided.

If you plan to use out-of-network benefits, I recommend reaching out to your insurance provider in advance to confirm your mental health coverage, understand your deductible, and find out what portion of the fee may be reimbursed.

  • Yes, I offer reduced rates for individuals facing financial barriers to paying the full fee.

Sliding scale rates are determined through an open conversation about your current financial situation, with the goal of making therapy accessible while respecting the value of our work together.

If you have questions about the fee structure or are unsure whether you qualify for a reduced rate, please don’t hesitate to reach out to discuss your options.

  • I generally offer appointments between the hours of 9am-6pm Monday through Friday. I do not offer weekend appointments at this time.

  • As someone practicing psychoanalytic therapy, I am ethically motivated to seek external consultation and supervision for my work. Additionally, as a provisionally licensed therapist in the state of Pennsylvania, I am obligated to work under the license of a licensed clinical social worker. I am currently supervised by a relational psychoanalyst in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
